July 2023: Compassionate release granted and client released!

After our client developed serious health conditions in custody, a Warren and Burstein team led by Katie Jenkins filed a motion to modify his sentence to time served so he could go home and receive the medical care he desperately needed.

The government strongly opposed the motion for a variety of reasons, including that our client had served only 30% of his sentence.

But after a lengthy hearing on July 13, 2023, the district court did the right thing, granted our motion, and released our client. He is now at home with his family.

Kudos to Ms. Jenkins for her excellent advocacy.
